Day 13 - Last Look Back

Isaiah 43:18-19
18 Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

The Holy Spirit called to my attention this scripture. The prompting of this moment was perfect because I am being forced into unfamiliar territory when it comes to my occupation, finances and education.

I can honestly say that I lived thinking that my best was behind me. How false could I have been in my life. The admonition that arise from the scripture by the unction of the holy spirit is clear. Conisder not nor remember.

I take this to mean that I shouldn't be using my past as the standard and I know this to be what he means by his next statement.

Behold....see.... I WILL do a new thing and now it shall spring forth. I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Prayer

Lord Jesus here I am again asking yet again for forgiveness for my insolence. You have proven yourself to be yet faithful and loving. I am not back in this moment again because I failed it but because you are giving me a chance to choose your way. And I commit to saying yes to you and to speaking you on the terms of the covenant you have made on my behalf.

You word admonishes me to seek you as if you have the record of it all in consideration. My faults and success and my commitments I have made to you. Give me to honor you thusly. Lead me further into the deep. Further into deep.
