Taste and See Policy

 Introduction

As minister I am learning to focus very heavily on applying the truths of God word to my life and talking about the benefits of his word from experience rather than speaking in platitudes. A heavy weight lies on the life of leader because he is often required to do things daily the some people may never do once. So alas this my intention to dine on what I intend to serve.

Hebrews Beyond the Veil - The Best Help - Kingdom Key (pp26-27)

Be Free Indeed

John 8:35-36
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Ephesians 1:5 - 2:17
15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; 2 Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: 3 Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: 7 That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

What things of this world hold you bound?

The lusts of eye , flesh and the pride of life. I have learned why it is called lust, those things have certain appeal and if one is captured with these things on can easily be enamored with them. This becomes perfect ground for the enemy to work because he looks to use the things that have allure, appeal and appeasement in the immediate. I am attracted to those things that draw me away from God and health and peace....I bound in my own flesh.

How might these Scripture passages lead you to find freedom?

By believing on the word of God specifically in those areas it create the same dynamic of possibility. Whereas the enemy is empowered to use those things I have fed. The Lord Jesus can empower me to overcome those desires that exalt themselves against Him. The reception of God's word in that deep place would not only open the inside but it would from inside teach me to overcome.

What does it mean to be in Jesus?

I have both a theological and philosophical answer to that question. On the one hand being in Christ is a position afford to us by WORK of Jesus, namely Calvary. One hunt through various scriptures in the new testament and switch out Calvary for Christ. The obvious caveat in the instances where it takes about Him specifically." And He is the head of church...." " He was in the beginning...". His person and his work. John stays closer the person while Paul seems to deal more with the work and rightly so. I think the one passage of scripture that clearly says what I am trying to say is Rom3:21-26 in the explanation of Christ and both the propiation(process) and proitatory ( sacrifice). One is typically done by a differ person but Paul they are done by the same...His Body is the sacrifice.

In much short phrasing to be in Christ is to be in communion with Him, to be connected on the deepest level possible. To stand before God as his own without consciousness of mine own past and or saturated in the blood of the Holy One. To share in the eternal perpetual communion of YAHWEH

What effect should this have on your daily walk of faith?

Centered properly the daily awareness of the fact that we stand before God in Christ should keep our faith robust and strong.

Taste and See Day Two

 Kingdom Extra - pp27 - 28

James 1:2-4, 12-16

2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a]whenever you face trials of many kinds,
3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.
4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

12 Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
13 When tempted, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does he tempt anyone;

14 but each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed.
15 Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death.
16 Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.

Sermonette ( James 1:12) - Something to Gain - Our walk with God is not without reward for our faithfulness , neither is without recourse for our disobedience. Be found like Peter says Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: - 2 Peter 1:10. Don’t make his sacrifice for no reason.  Heb 6:1-6.

What temptation do you most struggle with in your walk of faith?

Porn.

How has this struggle affected your life?

In many cases the it has stole times, intimacy and spiritual vitality. The constant back and forth this brings is demoralizing and painful.

How can the insights offered in the above article help you withstand temptation?

It’ll take some digging to full explain how i can experience what the writer is talking about. But if i use my understand of the moment. I have to identify when my heard is led to the place of sinning against God. Learning to turn into the resources God has given in my relationship with life and depending upon relationship who are uppward facing is teaching me the value of fellowship, prayer and doctrine and communion.

Temptation exposes us in areas often in space that are the weakest and the honest response before God as it pertains to this area or any area and bolster our faith in God.

Another Day....

TO TAKE AWAY

  • Why do you think God places us on earth to await our home in heaven?
    • It’s part of God’s design for us. The Lord is all together good as it concerns my well being and my life and plan for me. It’s fascinating to consider the ideas surrounding my life as choice of his rather than leading us to his side when we get saved.
  • When you envision the bigger perspective for your life, what plans do you think God has in store for you?
    • I am happy to say that I don’t know. Sometimes I do want to know but I do know what it involves...I know it involves my passions, family and my dreams and so daily I lay down these things at his feet so he can show me. I like to think that maybe on day I’ll have gain financial independence so that I can serve Him how I please.
  • What impact does setting your heart and hope on heaven have on the way you live today? In what way does your life show that your hope is in heaven?
    • I have down played heaven as my home for heaven on earth as a goal. So I have never really considered what heaven being my home could mean. I think I am more concerned about my departure and what I leave hear. I guess I need to study out what that means for me.

Prayer

Here again is another day for me to get it right. I find myself in a weird state before you because I know I have sinned. But I am still grateful that you chose to give me another chance. No way I can repay but to give you this moment...my now is yours. Lord Jesus open my eyes to the plans you have for me. Show me the purpose you have for me as I purpose to do your will.

TruWorship Meeting

 1. Check-In

2. Review of Expectation

3. My Ask(s) -  As the leader of this group my responsibility is mainly focused on ensuring that we are in tune with the pastors vision for the praise a worship team and generally that we are on the same page.

I cannot fire and or relieve anyone on this call. That is not my role and I am fortunate enough not to have to make that call. Therefore since I cannot remove you the most I will ever require is what is expected of you by the pastor. My asks are not additions to the expectations they are actions steps to accomplish our weekly goal in praise and worship.

First Asks - Keep One Point of Contact per week before service.

Second Ask - Pick a rehearsal date.

In each of the 3 times that we met I spoke to us regarding opt-in into the moment and the time.

I cannot measure your level of commitment I am going to press you to do that for yourself. I have to do the same daily as it pertains to the needs of this ministry and if we cannot manage to become consistent and opt in we wont accomplish our weekly goal. Which in turn is going to create a problem for the pastor which is our primary function, if he has to do our part, who does his part?

We are complimentary ministry and us being successful ensure that he does not have to work hard to bring forth the word.

Standard of Process - Legacy Cleaning.

The earmark of success for any business is a standardized process that can be replicated and trained. If we clean to our own standards there will invariably difference of objective cleanliness which is the different between maintaining account for good reputation and losing one for perceived lack. Therefore we have adopted a simple cleaning process that if maintained as it is taught will not only increase your effectiveness as you clean, but decrease the amount of time takes to clean.

This standard of process instruction manual is meant to give you a basic manner of cleaning that if applied to any account your are assigned to you will meet the standard required by the account.

TOC

Clean And Survey.....  Most often you will have more than a few thing that need to be clean at one time. Establish a basic line through the account that allow you to see all the work that needs to be done. Ideally you can start with task very simplistic like wiping down surface with visible stains. Which ever task you select the idea is get through the entire account and or area with the task completed while at the same time identifying what other thing may be needed to complete the cleaning for said account. Trash removal is the most common as you collect and check trash can you will see areas that need to wiped, vacuum and or sanitized.

NOTE; You are not cleaning a building you are cleaning up after people.

Once you have established a pattern of work with this account you can get feel for what works best for each account. Those adjustments should streamline your work the best suite the need of the client.

Clean And Check.....Your work can be categorized in waves and this being the second wave is when the bulk of your cleaning should be performed. If you have completed the first wave effectively then you should now have sense of what work and how long the work should take to complete. The element of surveying is not out of the conversation as you dive in keep your eyes open to simple things...streaks, vacuum debris, missed trash cans. These things happen but if you are cleaning to standard you will catch before the client does.

Check......It is advisable that you do a final walk through to make sure everything is cleaned to standard. Going the extra mile is important to making a long lasting impression.

CLEAN IN and CHECK OUT.

PAIN

 PAIN in PAIN

Practicing

Applications

Intentionally

Now

......

Purpose, Adversity, Integrity, NonConformance.

This notion of PAIN is huge in the context of life because we understand that God has a habit of using pain to form into us what he want us to be.

It was good for me to be afflicted so that I might learn your decrees. PS 119:71

2 Corinthian 4 Most Notably - For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; Verse 17.

2 Count it all joy, my brothers,[a] when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. James 1: 2- 4

Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2 Tim 2:3

And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. 1 Peter 5:10

2 Corinthian 12: 7 - 10 Most Notably - Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong. Verse 10.

31 And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:32 But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. Luke 8:31 -32

And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. 1 Corinth 11:23 -25

9 and be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith,

10 that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death, - Phil 3:9-10

Litter all of the scripture is this consistent notion of suffering, brokenness, testing, trials, tribulation, adversity. PAIN PAIN PAIN. No way to escape it PAIN PAIN PAIN. And as we grow close to God in our love relationship with Him there is then this learning that can only seem to take place while pain is present. We then have the responsibility to investigate all the areas of pain in our lives.

Pain usually arise out of the three areas.

1.  An indication that something is being done wrong (learning pain)

2. An indication something is changing fast than you can adjust (growing pain)

3. An indicating you are attempting to change something  on purpose  ( working pain)

There is an all elusive most powerful type of pain that none of us like to address and this is genuine suffering as of result of something value lost, hurt or destroyed. This pain comes as of about the result of fallen world and fallen man. The pain is the most senseless which usually includes, unexpected deaths, killings, sicknesses like cancer and so on..... This pain is not to be understood but to be endured ( weeping may endure for a night) and once you have overcome this pain you can empathize more easily with others.

The wisdom of these types of pain is that the LORD uses them ALL to bring us to where he desires for us to be. Its his way.

......

The implementation of PAIN is used with with another acronym.

Practicing Applications Intentionally Now.

Lesson come out of these different kinds of pain and the effect of the those lesson learned can immediate if we actively apply what we have learned to the area we learned it in. Our focus in investigating our pains is not for the purpose to eliminate the pain because we will never be free of it but is to understand why it is present and learn and apply the lesson the pain came to teach.

An example of learning from pain is back pain...the worse kind of pain there is sometimes. In most cases back pain comes because of poor posture. I can remember back to the time where I was child when my mother and father almost regular said....sit up in your chair, dont slouch its bad for your back. Here I am 32 years old suffering chronic back pain because of posture. The lesson the pain brought me was posture makes a difference when I am pain when I force myself to sit properly its mildly painful but soon the back pain goes away.

THE PURPOSE OF INVESTITGATING IS TO CHANGE.

So then in our implementation acronym

Practicing Applications Intentionally Now

We are taking immediate actions based of what our Purpose, Adversity , Integrity and Nonconformance has taught and brought us to.

Import to note that sometimes this process will give us experiences and teach us lesson but it is all ultimate about what become about how we live not so much about what we know.

ITS NOT ABOUT THE KNOWLEDGE BUT ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE.

The principle of one plays a huge role in this process. If we be honest alot of time it is our own ambition that walks us to some pain. " Eyes bigger than your belly" God is keen on having us to bridle our passions before him and keep a keen on his desire. In most cases this is where the suffering begins.

And when He had called the people unto Him with His disciples also, He said unto them, “Whosoever will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. Lukes iteration of this phrase adds the word daily which indicates a practice.

A Word of Faith as it concern P.A.I.N

The Acronym PAIN

Purpose  - Obedience to the word of the Lord.

Adversity - Challenges that come because of the word that reveal the true state of our heart.

Integrity - When we act honestly as it concerns the revelation of our heart

Nonconformance - How we fit better into the plan God has for our life as a result and or misfit the world.

The Lord revealed to me in the small devotional that I had this morning that an important and essential element of faith is its activity.

Faith full grown is pointed and actively engaging God as it concerns the area for which it exists.

Its argued that a faith that is not actively believing God for his promises is not faith but rather hope in a human sense. And as a result this human faith called hope is not enough for us to live. The standard of life in christ. (Life in Christ). The just shall live by faith.

The regards of PAIN simply means that what God bring us to as a result is no more than a simple commitment to see that we actively engage our issues that bring us PAIN. The great revelation is that God use suffering, trials, testing, temptation and infirmities to do his work in us. Although he can comfort in those times of seemly senseless PAIN he would rather use it to teach us.

Besides if we are suffer it with no discrimination then better it the hand of almighty God who loves us and is seeking our good then to be otherwise outer unnecessary experience. Better brokenness be useful in the hand of God and perfect peace in the world system. Better suffering in the hand of God then tranquility and solace in the world system.

Prayer

The manner of faith require I have now. You have opened my eyes to the position that I must take before you. And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive. These are your word and either I believe it or I dont. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. The contrast for asking believing and asking in faith is certain assurance that comes from the person I am asking.

So then I am trapped between just believing that you can and know you can until it that I put in perspective who I am speaking to as it concern my life. Until that I also put into perspective that you require me to behave in faith and in order for me to do that you must already be speaking and because you are provider I already have what I need to get through this. So then Lord Jesus I praise you for what you have procured for me and i received this day the daily bread you have prepared. I dare not insult your ability to provide be asking you to give, then exercise my faith in this manner to know that you saw me in the garden and came secured what I would need to live a full life in you. Your grace SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO amazing.

Day Again.

Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Today if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts as in the provocation

That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

The NEW definition of day is he moment with the truth of God's word enters your heart.  The Lord faithfully woke me up this morning and he said something to me that kind of scared me a little but not really.

" The path of ascension has been set. All that is left is to make the sacrifice."

The Holy Spirit told me a long time ago that walking with Me costs and walking on the level of depth and desire that you want costs even more so.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

He is calling for a sacrifice in the form of my life, something of value that will cost my time and my energy.

When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

Prayer

Lord this is my prayer on this day. I am coming to you asking for cleansing of my heart. My sin is ever before me of lust and pornography, of lying and stealing. In my heart I know your truth but there is also deceit and rather than run from you. I choose to come you my father. My father hear me as i pray to you. You offered me righteouness of Christ by your sacrifice at the cross of Calvary. Here I am I am accept your provision...what you gave for me to have. I am yours and I commend my body to your according your word and I ask you heal me.

The Way of Suffering

LongSuffering or Forebearance is a key fruit of the spirit. At least the one that I need the most of in this time. I am finding myself dealing with internal issues that are much bigger than sometimes I can handle.

The Lord told me last night " The road up ahead is wrought with pain. None of the pain is bad its all good." He further said this morning " I am going to give you something that is going to pin you to me, I will awaken the hunger in your heart for me. This will change your desire in all other things."

Then he goes on to show me a picture of the nail going to the hand of Christ on the cross.

The cross is the quintessential experience for believer...its is central to his daily vitality in Him. Every gift, provisions, help and revelation hinders on the cornerstone of the salvific work of Calvary. If then we be risen then we should those things which are above where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Seek those things which are above not those thing on the earth. For you are dead and your life is hid with Christ in God.

The path way up is down and the pathway in is out. The Lord Jesus transmits to us a measure of this truth when he says if any man wishes to follow after me he must first deny himself, take up his cross and follow me. It will cost me my very life and it should.

How great a gain for such a price? I trade my life for his righteousness that I walk daily in his presence until when i am no longer attached to daily my connection remains with Him. That he shares my burdens and is concerned with my concerns that he then bends himself so that i can understand him and he me. Lost in love relationship what I have no way of understanding but only to experience. That I may confront death as a foe and sickness as fiend and darkness as an obstacle. That his very light to which has animated me is not coursing through my veins.

Once without hope , without God,  lost in the world. Living by my passion beyond my design and outside of the peace of my makeup. No way one can turn this down if one has true understanding of what is being offered by the Lord in exchange for the life force. You get to choose where your eternity ends.

Prayer

I am so unworthy of your love and it astounds me how you continue to lavish me with your love. I am found wanting in EVERYWAY ....I fall short exceedingly but you wont let me go. You know my frame and you intend to hold me until my dying day and for that Lord I am grateful.

Live it out!

As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

I have to admit this is going to make a bit emotional because of how this hits. My father is a teacher of the bible truth and he has imparted into me many lesson to this day that keep me. And in fact on the the major message that I spoke when I was IN front of the biggest crowds I had every spoke was about believing in the power of the gospel.

24-25 Stay with what you heard from the beginning, the original message. Let it sink into your life. If what you heard from the beginning lives deeply in you, you will live deeply in both Son and Father. This is exactly what Christ promised: eternal life, real life!

26-27 I’ve written to warn you about those who are trying to deceive you. But they’re no match for what is embedded deeply within you—Christ’s anointing, no less! You don’t need any of their so-called teaching. Christ’s anointing teaches you the truth on everything you need to know about yourself and him, uncontaminated by a single lie. Live deeply in what you were taught.

This simple truth reverberates through my being now. I have come to place where I have enough information to do what's right...now all that's left to do is live it out. I am reminded of the what they do for children in a bowling alley. That put up bumpers to make sure the shot the children take strike pins.

Ironically they dont just do that because they know the kid cant properly bowl. But rather to teach him how to do so.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

The word of God is true and does not lie. The Lord himself has loosed the band on me that was used to teach me and now I have to STAND in faith. I must walk out what he has placed in me.

Its time to draw on all of the teachings that have been put in me to do all that God has called me to do.

My grandfather Scott Furr Jr. taught me and my father valuable life lessons and my father has passed on to me those same lesson and even more when it comes to the truth of God's word. The misty part is this, that as long I as I live and do what he taught me ...HE lives. The vestige of his abilities are in me and can be expressed in manner that was his... so long as I live by what I was taught.

Living the Truth

The sacrifice of Christ empowers me to daily live in his presence with no consciousness of sin.

My fall and failures come from both my willingness to continue to sin and or lack of knowledge as it concerns this.

While I may sin, I DONT HAVE TO. While I may fall, I DONT HAVE TO.

While I may stray, I CAN COMEBACK. While I may choose away,  IT DOES NOT CHANGE HIS PLAN AND WILL FOR ME.

Today I choose to live boldly in that truth.

Lord Jesus,  I give you this time and my heart. I bring my broken way of living to you. I draw near to your throne of grace and ask you help. To shed your provision of forgiveness on my sins that I might free worship you. Free and faithful lay down before you acceptable in your sight.

Without blame before you in love.

Lord Jesus, I choose to live by the beat of your heart. Keep me by the power of your word. I commit to putting your word in my mouth.

Sanctify me by your truth, Your word is truth.

.... taking this step now.

Im Made New

Introduction

There has been an issue that presents a major threat to the success we have spiritual, emotionally and naturally. We see this issue when it comes to matter of racism and low self-esteem. This issue of self-hate plays into how we parents, work and live and the Lord wants to heal that today.

Declaration: Lord I receive your healing for place where I have accepted hate.

This is stark confession we made in the declaration, but I want to peel back the layers of this so that we can walk in freedom and in power.

Have you ever heard the scripture?

Rom12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

I Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

Have you ever heard this phase?

If you get too high the Lord will bring you down. If we ever hear this again, we should recognize this as the hand of the enemy attempting to destroy the image of you that God made. Our definition of humility on earth has more to do with weakness and quietness. Whereas God’s picture of meekness has to do with understanding the power you posses and only using it to glorify God.

Most often people twist this scripture to try to accommodate their smallness in front of someone else bigness. Which is no different than saying…don’t be arrogant. I submit to you that message from that person is seeded in self-hate. If you receive it or have received, you have done so in because of self-hate.

Just because you are not harming yourself doesn’t mean you aren’t harming yourself.

If its abundantly true that we take the position of God we hold things over other people whom god forgave, then same would be sin for us to hold things against ourselves that the precious blood of Christ came to cleanse and redeem.

My intentional focus in on us and or rather that inner work has come to head to defeat this and every other issue that presents itself as an opposition to what and how God made you.

See the salient feature of how we handle ourselves in Pauls address

Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

But I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;…

This expression by Paul is an expression of an inner work that present in me.

God is prospering me to defeat the enemy, In ME!

The damage done to us when we internalize negative words is so debilitating it can sometimes drown out the word of God in our hearts and minds. The words spoke to us by people are filled with emotions and can be scathing that same emotion which we receive the word has power to distort and or enhance the words impact and or intent in our lives.

20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it;

21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.

22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.

Note that scripture places an abundant emphasis on hearing the word as reception of the seed. Therefore the interference can only be thoughts and or other words.

I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Don’t accept a meal from a tightwad;
    don’t expect anything special.
He’ll be as stingy with you as he is with himself;
he’ll say, “Eat! Drink!” but won’t mean a word of it.
His miserly serving will turn your stomach
when you realize the meal’s a sham.

 Don’t bother talking sense to fools;
they’ll only poke fun at your words. Or “ as man thinks in his heart so is he…”

These texts have something in common I wish to share with you by revelation. All of this has to do with what we do with the words we hear.

We should reject ANYTHING that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…this included message about who, what and how we are. We should soundly and public deny any message that does echo the truth of Gods word, either hidden meaning and direct.

The lion share of the enemies work is indirect, this is the nature of influence that is it not explicitly said but implicit in nature.

3+-75hr

price changes after 3/4 of hour 1.75 = 75$/2.75=150$/3.75=225$

Price Flex Contract - The quote price after the consultation is not permanent. The price is based on the time it takes to complete the task. For that reason I will clean and moderate pace and as I become more familiar with the  patterns of the building if I am able to work it to the lower price range for less time I will. So you could be quoted for 225$ per day because the quote time in the two days is 3hr 50mins. If I am able to complete it in 3hr 30 mins I will discount the service to the lower rate of 150$.

3-2-1 Day Contracts

Schedule Charging - All cleaning contracts and charge by time. Price per week may vary based on work completed. The highest ideal at Legacy Cleaning is the right way the first time / A lazy mans job is done twice. Our 2 day Consultation is designed to identify the moderate time in which the specified areas can be cleaned, which will start our base price. Your actual price will again be based on the time it takes to complete the task. So if 3 hours is the quote and I am able to complete in 2 and 10 mins it will look like (150 quote for that day - 75 Actual Charge) you will stay at the lower rate if I am able to beat the time I quoted -35mins.

- 2 Day Contracts -  Seldom Use

These are offered on Tues and Thursdays. This is recommend for less the 50% of time spent in office but still moderate use from time to time.

Cleaning Up - Day 24

The first and ongoing work of spiritual life is taking responsibility for ones condition. The word of the lord thusly declares Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. That the book in Hebrews 4. I am tried and found wanting because I have rather than ran TO the throne of grace and I have ran FROM it. This indicative of lack of understanding and truth as it regard my faith in Christ and his work at the cross. The day before I dealt with this idea of penance vs repentance. Now I am struggling with this notion of grace that allows me the space to sin and take off. My definition of love or rather how God loves me does not call that grace it calls that mercy. But alas it is grace,  the precious spirit of the Lord calls out to me when I sin , fail or run to come back to him and accept this free gift he gave of salvation and repentance. I know it is Him working in me to will and to do of his good pleasure I have seen enough my ways played to know when I have painted the same path way of escape and failure.

The Lord spoke through my brother and through this meditation this morning (https://encounteringpeace.libsyn.com/pathtothekingdom) and constantly encouraging me to continue to move forward in Him. I love the fact that sometimes the Lord word can be read in different translation saying the same thing and I hear something different.

But before I get into that I did a study of the VOTD.

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

This is what I came out with. The love of world has to do with pursuit of and John identifies if the love the world is in the man by three factors, eyes, flesh and pride. These are all external and high value is place of these things Matt 6:33 draws a stark contrast that though some of these things are in common they are but for a means to an end. My desires for how I look, what I want to eat and even where I live are consider light work and the father has these things in mind...' he know my need for these things'. The call for the believer is seek after God and his way not after the things. It is a world system to seek after the things, not need them but seek them as if God himself sent you to this earth without any desire to provide for you.

Both scripture call for immediate repentance because we can fall into the pit and just slap his name on it. The heart I believe is found  in the word love....John hint at in his retort ( Love of the Father) and Matthew  ( The Father Knows) he even goes to record Jesus words saying 'if we being evil know how to give our children good gifts....'.  Which bring me to my point now.

But first and most importantly seek (aim at, strive after) His kingdom and His righteousness [His way of doing and being right—the attitude and character of God], and all these things will be given to you also.

The breakout point that stood out to me which gave me cause of pause.

-  SEEK. AIM. STRIVE

- His Way of doing and being right, Attitude and Character of God

What is powerful about this to me is that this amplified version seem to point at how active the believer must be in his walk with God.

Get S.A.S.sy with it!

The part that knocked me was the latter portion his way of doing and being right in attitude and character. I watched a long time ago a documentary about what living out our call to the kingdom looks like in real time. The person said something that I didn't agree with but I do now. He says " Everything you do has got be sold out to this purpose. You cannot choose a career that does not allow you to build God's kingdom."  My father was pastor of a church at the time and he was working a job that didn't have anything to do with the kingdom. I figured peoples ministry happens on their free time. He kept going an explained that the amount of free time being spent doing ministry averages less than an hour in a week or so. The more dedicated people is 3 -4. He said again something I didn't agree ' the lack in the kingdom comes from people not selling out to God work.' How do you suppose people pay their bills.

Until now.

I missed his overarching point in my disagreeing. He was not advocating that we quit our 9-5s to go do ministry in the street with no way to pay our bills. Rather what he was saying is that the opportunities for ministry are within the sphere of influence you already have. He was saying that we should be looking for the person God placed us in the space to impact for his will and his glory to fulfill the great commission. See the work and recreation and the field and harvest that God has positioned you to get.

He said

I am going to restore you. I am going to bring you to full strength.

The businesses that I have crafted from mine own experiences exist soles to serve the community and become the bedrock of opportunity for House of Hope to come forth in the community. The businesses have the potential to make no only enough money for me and my family do well without having to work for anyone else but they have enough potential grow and expand to employ community members and become the space of growth.

Prayer

Many of the things I have seen dreamt many years ago you are bring full circle. The next steps ahead are huge and intimidating but that's how I know its you.  You gave me a heart of  people and desire to serve my community and it has been my folly and ambition to keep separating the two and no such place has to be so because of you. So then I ask you to lead me in the path allows me space to do business your way to give my children a hope and future and operate in the earth like you. I can finally see how you are weaving these things together. I am asking that you forgive me of my sin of lust and pornography and I am commit to doing your will regardless of my own feelings and I accept the free gift of your grace and repentance. Only that you take my heart and seal it for your courts that I might be blameless before you now and in the future.

Awaken - Day 22

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 1:18

I have been using this phrase ' Out of the abundance of.."I usually engaged this phrase to denote the action I am about to take from a place of security and understanding. This scripture gives me the undergirding of abundance.

The very nature of life abundant comes from the simple fact that our circumstance is no more destitute, broken,  confused and stricken with destruction than any other person. It is however God's unfailing grace and extravagant gift of His son that allow us to come to a table of peace, hope and grace. I am propelled by God's intense desire for relationship with me.

I am no more present before God but for His reasons. I therefore have only my life as sacrifice and tithe this my time so that I might see what it is he has for me. I choose to turn away from mine own desires in turn to His. I choose to lie passively in his Hands and KNOW NOTHING but his Will.

The understanding of Isaiah can only be understood for the light of new testament shed new light on what God was really saying.... I AM going to remove that which separates us FOREVER.

Prayer.

There is nothing that stands between you and I. My sin is not strong enough...for once I shed the light on it you are faithful to forgive, heal and cleanse. You are just to ensure that happens as I lay me down before you. Help me see how close you are....I need to know how close we are. I have become blinded by my own passions and I have lost touch with the heart of your desire. What it means to worship...not to earn your presence but to embrace your presence. Not to atone for mine own sin but to accept that atonement by repentance. Nothing to add to your cross...being all sufficient for me.  Jesus you are enough for me. More than enough. If I have you I have all I need. I plead for a deeper awakening to the truth of our relationship all for what it is.

A Pure Religion - The Answer to My Prayer

Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

The poking and prodding of the Holy Spirit is more than a push but a leading. Last night I openly confess my sins to my friend and brother. I expressed a desire to find a balance between my faith and my disciplined expression. Lo and behold there it is right in James.

Religion has become a VERY VERY dirty word but I am learning it really on means diligence accord to the command of the word. A line of heart involvement must be tote properly that at any point  religion becomes defiled and falling short.

One of the things that I have been hear and ruminating on is this idea of rampant Fatherlessness and single mothers. Very plainly the brokenness of our community is found right hear that our faith in Jesus should lead us to speak directly to those issues that faces us daily. I am aware of the cultural difference that place into James but I am also uniquely aware of how that so perfect speaks into our situation. A double lining is placed in this scripture that for which is a goal for pure religion and practice. To keep ones self unspotted from the world.

That part stands out all the more because it seems to indicate not allow the passions of our own hearts or of this world to get into and mix with the desires of this world which I am reminded of in John where is says " love not the world, nor the things of the world, for all that is in the world is the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and pride of life."

Not an insult in James but an admonition to fully embrace the life God has given you.

Prayer

Thank you for the gift for your holy spirit that leads me and guides me into all truth. You have been a God of your word where you said you will never leave me nor forsake me. You have once again proven your self to be Emmanuel and that you yourself would come and save me. Your promises have been ever true regardless of my lack of attention and my disregard for your law. Here again I am come to repent , to turn away from that which is not your will and to die to myself.  Lead me holy spirit by your word and your truth that I might live.

LFCC - The Work

In my drafting document of Life Fellowship Community Center I wrote something called the list and the needs. The context of those ids is that it become the constant source of both ministry and income. For that reason the aspect of the ministry needs to be primary so there must be a cash cow that we can use to not only provide income for ministry but its fellow ministers. But why stop at one.

The concept given to me is to try to use every aspect of the function of the center to produce independent income which can be funneled back into the center to pay for cost at minimum and turn a reasonable profit a maximum. Ideally the employees are part time where feasible but if the business is lucrative enough they can be full time.

The primary goal is the service to pay for itself which would include insurances, employees and overhead. Net 0 which would me there is not addition profit to be given and the Fellowship Center is able to function without paying for these services.

Secondary goal is to turn a profit providing essential services to community members at the reasonable price. Best in class service and lower than average prices.

How to price services: Your 6-step guide ( https://www.patriotsoftware.com/blog/accounting/how-pricing-services-strategies-models-formula/)

Because there is not a set-in-stone method for pricing services, you have some flexibility. Use the following six steps to learn how to price a service:

  1. Calculate your costs
  2. Look at the market
  3. Know your customers
  4. Consider time invested
  5. Come up with a fair profit margin
  6. Charge an hourly or per-project rate

Day 20 - Relive!

WORD CHOICE

Proverbs 15:1–15

Recommended Reading: Psalm 34:13–14; James 3:1–12

The ability to master our mouths, watch our words and tame our tongues demonstrates a level of spiritual and emotional maturity. The opposite is true as well. An inability to control our speech shows immaturity, and it can inflict great harm on our relationships.

Solomon addresses the importance of controlling our words by contrasting positive and negative speech. In each case, the effects end up as opposites: peacefulness or wrath, knowledge or folly, healing or a crushed spirit. In other words, when we fail to control our tongue, we don’t just fail to give, or be, a blessing. We also cause a wound that can rupture a relationship.

Rabbi Joseph Telushkin, author of Words That Hurt, Words That Heal, states that he asks audiences whether they can go 24 hours without saying any unkind words about or to anyone. Invariably, a few people answer “yes,” but most call out “no!” He responds, “Those who can’t answer ‘yes’ have a serious problem. If you can’t go 24 hours without drinking liquor, you’re addicted to alcohol. If you can’t last 24 hours without smoking, you’re addicted to nicotine. And if you can’t make it 24 hours without saying unkind words about others, you’ve lost control of your tongue.”

How can you tell whether your tongue is under control? You won’t say anything about an individual that you can’t say directly to that person. You resist the urge to exaggerate. You consciously examine your thoughts and remove gossip and rumors from your conversations. You keep in confidence a personal matter that someone else shares with you. Further, you learn to speak positive words. Appropriate words communicate affirmation, comfort and healing.

When was the last time you said something to another person that you instantly regretted? Maybe it was something intended as a joke that was instead taken as an offense, or perhaps it was a sharp word spoken in anger that you wish you could have taken back. Think of a specific situation, and then challenge yourself to rectify the hurt. While you may not be able to take back the words themselves, you can humbly submit yourself to that person and begin to rebuild the relationship.

TO TAKE AWAY

  • Do you think most men struggle with controlling their words? Why or why not?
    • I think so, I think it comes with the nature of what we are called to do. We often called to give an answer for things that go on and much rather speak to a thing and ensure that is right and allow the emotions of the moment to drive us into a hole from which could have come out. This however is not always healthy because sometimes the difference between or promotion and removal is our perception which we must be aware of.
  • How would others evaluate your speech? Would they say that your words more frequently heal or wound?
    • I think it bit of both I think the others around me would lean more towards healing rather than wounding. Of course that what I think I can see how sometimes my word are sharp.
  • What steps can you take to gain tighter control over your tongue?
    • The word of God and meditation.

Prayer

Lord forgive me you told me that I was mixing something into meditation that didnt belong and I didnt respond. Forgive me I will do this now.

MEDITATION

Mindfulness was a rage that swept the nation for a season and is being incorporated into every aspect of life. The value of things true is always good, but a line must be drawn in the sand. There is no need to mix these two do one or other. Both once you know what they are truly cannot be done.

So then the word must be on you mind and in your heart when you meditate as you breathe...the murmur and the sign. which makes up meditate.

Day 19 - True Freedom

The Lord confides in those who fear him; he makes his covenant known to them. My eyes are ever on the Lord, for only he will release my feet from the snare. Psalms 25:14-15

31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Thought - Only HIS truth makes ME free.

The entanglements of this is world are in fact strong and do present a sizeable challenge to not only the things of God but the very natural and simple things. The lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life accord to John is all that is in the world. Processing life without God will lead you down one of these thing into these three places.

The entrapments of the lust are so fierce and consistent until Jesus makes us a deal that requires bondage, to keep you and I free. The idea that our free will gives us freedom is misnomer. What grants us is bondage to the life we desire. Nay we get to choose our bondage.

Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 6:16

Notice how Paul in Romans leave absolutely no gray. Our occasion of freedom present us with a choice of how to live and which way to live. The way of life, light and truth like any other way has a specified path, process and purpose in the hand of the creator.

Comparatively in sin you get what you want at the cost of your life for a price not worth it in the end. In Christ you get what he gives you at the cost of your life for a price worth it in the end.

This life Jesus gives on His terms is very costly but the investment triples. You are in no way diminished.

My wife stirred me last night I think of purpose but I dont think she thought about how much she stirred me. I fight ensued last night to which I fell but not lost. For the breath of God is my body and He is still my light. My eyes moving and heart yet beating is the Almighty God giving me yet another shot to get it right.  I am not throwing away my shot.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, here am I again. Waiting on you to show your will. I see a know what I need to do your call is simple one, not easy however. I bring to you the broken mess I call my total self. I bring to your my offense and my offenses and ask for your forgiveness. My offense of doubt and fear and my offenses of lust and pornography and disobedience. I continually bring them to Lord because you are the only one that can free. My efforts to free myself are like struggling in quick sand every thrust to move makes me sink faster until I am in it and or burn of energy to get out. Only you can save me. So then Lord I cry out, save me from myself, save me from my sins, save me from my pride, save me from fears and doubts.....Save me to be like you.

Only you can make IT right and ME right. I choose contentment with your measure of my life even if it means that other people dont understand it. I choose to find satisfaction in the fact that you placed me where I am. I choose be satisfied in you and you alone. Empty of me of any ambition that thrusts me into the love of money, the lust of the eye, lust of the flesh and the pride of life.

You have very specific plan for me and I know it by how you open doors and close others. And rather than focusing on the plan, i choose to focus on your hand. Lead me where you will. Take me where you wont, Guide how you wish. My trust is in you. in what you say.in what you do.

DAY 18 - Light Meditation

Take My Hand, Lets Take A Walk

The warmest feeling that I can remember as child was holding my father hand while we walked down the street. It is and was an endearing feeling where have an opportunity to spend time journeying in this life.

The image I get in my mind as I mediate on the light is Jesus outstretched hand. And me as child reaching up... The hardest part of this whole process is reaching up and looking back and realizing that when I take his hand this walk it is into eternity. There then is this betrayal and abandonment and a forsaking of this world and its ways.

As I reach of His hand, I willful continue my gaze on him like I was as child upon his father as we walk, not worrying about where he is leading but on focused that HE is leading me.

Prayer

Lord Jesus let me see your light and see hand that I might hold on to you. Let me walk with you humbly that I might be yours completely. Let me walk with you on this earth and same way i will walk with you. Let me like a child fall willing into your arms and into your peace. I need you and I trust you. Give me your word and truth that I might be cleaned out my ambition, motives and intent. I want sqaure one.

Day 17 - The Holy Stay

Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.

---

Take good counsel and accept correction— that’s the way to live wisely and well. We humans keep brainstorming options and plans, but God’s purpose prevails.

Journal

This day has been a bit of weird one for me. I woke up with mind to do some work and prepare for this launch out. I was given some marching order by the holy spirit in preparation for the things that God is about to do in my life, for me and through me. As I was doing my planning and pulling my stuff out for presentation to my pastor I felt some resistance by God. He didnt tell me why he was resisting me but I felt it and it was very strong. I have learned over these few year in ministry that when God moves like that its time to be still.
It is kind of conflictual because after my conversation documented in my iPhone it was like God gave me the ok to go hard and fast. I have surmised that what God is calling me to do is to stay on track with where I am and hold my peace as it concerns my next steps.
Its awkward to say the least because this was the moment I was waiting for and it seems like all the steam around what I wanted has left the building and I am demotivated, which I honestly think has been coming from my lack of consistency and failing into sin.
The stay however seems to be deeper than that.....

Not too many moment after holy pause I found myself remembering God's word to me. There is cost associated with following me, you will have to give up things and sacrifice things that other wont care to. You will have to choose to lose things but this is what it cost to follow me.

Not many more days later he said that he is going to provide for me in the manner that I have never experienced. He is said he is going to cause me to increase in areas that I have not asked and he is going to show me how to maintain. There then is a certain level of intensity that has been in an around you as it pertains to the things of God, fasting, praying, worship, word and fellowship plays a key role how attuned one can be to God and the flow of his spirit.

Today as I was challenged not to engage my leisurely activities and choose him and the scripture psalms 1 came to mind.

1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

My attention to the word in my scripture was on delight in the light of preference. Just choosing him instead of me, choosing his way instead of mine.

As got on to look up this psalms one to full turn my attention it I came to this scripture at the beginning of my blog. I immediately began to remember my fathers words he said to me a few days ago.

" Don't be afraid to go out and experience what God has for you. If you have arrived to something by revelation that the people dont get dont be afraid to keep moving and allow the people around you be confused and certainly dont allow them to stop you from living out that revelation because you will often walk in the blessing that God has for you and even greater because you went further in."

The truth is that I have been regretting be alone, the first to see a things and say a thing and be misunderstood. The page that Jesus had me on is making my moves in silence and peace with him.

Day 16 - The Coming of the Kingdom

There is song that I have been singing all week that has been touching my heart. Spirit Break Out. Besides learning to sing again and sing within the given range that I have it says something that I never thought about.

King Jesus / Your the name were lifting high

Your Glory/ Shaking up thee earth and sky

Revival / We want to see your kingdom here!

The last lyric is what caught me.

Matt 6:9-13
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

The prevailing thought that shot across my spirit was this.  God kingdom is not established in the earth just because he is God, the establishment of his kingdom in the earth is in the heart of those who trust in him. Those same people become his church and establish his kingdom in earth by way of the preaching of the gospel.

In this instance the Lord spake again.

" The Church is my work in you, The kingdom is your work in the earth."

Alignment in this instance repositions us his inner work in us and the outer work his grace is manifesting in us as people.

To Step back - The kingdom comes because we ask for it, we actually have to ask for it. If assume that prayer is a request then can safely the manner of prayer that Jesus teaches is a formula for how we should request things.

The reign of God kingdom starts in the hearts of his people and gradually begins to change.

At one moment we are cut off from the kingdom of darkness and thrust into the light, but the immediacy of the death we come through to come to God is gradual. When you cut a flower the moment you do, its dead. It takes time for that thing to die. But its own death become fertilizer for something greater and because are who we are he plants seeds in our hearts / spirits and used the our sacrifices of our body as fertilizer to grow his plant of righteousness in our hearts.

ITS TIME

With the new move God is doing Pastor Terrance Curtain he has finally released me to go full throttle and do what he has called me to do.

THUS SAITH THE LORD

As my people harken to my voice I will do a move among them in the place they have consecrated to me. The abiding presence of God will remain on the people of God who seek me with their whole heart and I will do a new thing among my people. I will shone my glory among the surrendered , submitted  and sanctified. See not that you seek after the manifestation of these words but the disposition of spirit before me. Obedience will suffice . EXPECT REVIVAL.

Dream

We were sitting at Generation Church at tables face to face and I was given the mic to do some part of the service. I began to sing and good number of people in the building began to sing with me as led the songs. I felt good because I was singing the way I wanted to I didn't since any of my limitations vocally but I knew where my range was. As I winded down I sang another song and end on Love you forever by Tasha Cobbs and I hand the mic over and clapped my hands.

I clapped them some more and took off running, I buried my head in my shirt and ran across the front and began to cry out . " I do love you Jesus,  I do."

In my dreams I begin to cry and i started in my sleep.

PRAYER

Lord Jesus I am no good at keeping promises. I cannot be trusted neither can I trust anything I say beyond how I feel some times. But this I want to say is thank you. You have been a limitless provider, a keeper beyond my stupid decisions, a hope beyond my unfaithfulness and God above my circumstances.

The inclining that I have is to sit down before you and play to just worship you until I am in the place of worship like I was in my dream. You have been calling me and I have not being answering. I want to you to forgive me for not hearing but draw me to you once again. Touch that which is not like you a cover it so that I can engage you freely in worship. That my hands can find chords and my songs can find your heart.

I want your song....to sing your praises .... to offer your worship that breaks chains and opens eyes to your greatness.

THE BEST POLICY

Psalm 130:1–8

Recommended Reading: Psalm 89:1–52; 123:1–4; Colossians 1:15–23

Have you ever noticed the boldness of David and of other composers of psalms? They courageously questioned God (see Psalm 89:46) and went so far as to boldly outline for him what in their view he needed to do (see Psalm 123:3). As people well versed in Israel’s history, the songwriters, we might expect, would have kept silent when it came to questioning God’s ways.

However, the psalmists “got away” with what they said because they expressed their feelings with honesty. They knew their own weaknesses and limitations and understood God’s strength and power and majesty. They knew who they were and where they were. But they also knew God.

Here, the songwriter acknowledges his own state as being in “the depths” (Psalm 130:1). Whether this refers to a physical, emotional or spiritual place doesn’t matter. He’s honest enough to recognize his desperate situation and to cry out to God for help. Simply acknowledging our need is the first step down the pathway of redemption.

But what does the songwriter need? He realizes that if God were to keep a record of sin, the psalmist would certainly be lost. With his rhetorical question “Who could stand?” (Psalm 130:3), he anticipates the words of the New Testament: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). In almost the same breath as his admission of sinfulness, the songwriter honestly expresses who God is. With God “there is forgiveness … unfailing love … full redemption” (Psalm 130:4,7). Finally, the songwriter acknowledges God’s promise that “he himself will redeem Israel from all their sins” (verse 8).

Perhaps the apostle Paul had the words of Psalm 130 in mind hundreds of years later when he wrote to the church at Colosse, “For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in [Jesus], and through him to reconcile to himself all things” (Colossians 1:19–20).

Because of Christ we can be honest with ourselves: God comes to where we are to redeem who we are because of who he is.

TO TAKE AWAY

  • Do you think you’re honest about where you are, who you are and who God is? How can you be sure?
    • The breathe in my lung proves that I am still sure that I am where I am before God. My opinion about where I am before, who I am and who God is subservient to his great works in my life. Its a great work to wake me up every morning and keep this heart beating because he didn't have to.
  • When was the last time you thanked God for his forgiveness?
    • I few minutes ago. He was and is a blessed hope and help to me. He is all my strength.
  • In what ways does your life show that you are forgiven and accepted by God?
    • Here is where my conundrum begins I want this to be the strongest point of my lifestyle is that I am reflection of his goodness. I try to allow his gift flow through me to others can connect with the savior that loves him...and this is what I want more than anything.
